How to build your own custom PC and save – Promo for P. 1/3

Promo for upcoming 3 part series where I will show you how to build your own custom PC, on the cheap, when you are building a mid to higher end PC (well, as of September 2016). I will show you parts comparisons, selections, prices, the actual assembly process, and the installation of Windows 10 and customization/configuration of the OS, with free software that everyone should be using. I will be building a system for us here at Computer Magazine, as part of our video production system, to demonstrate the process. It’s an i7-6700k, with 64 GB RAM, a 500 GB SSD as the main boot drive, a secondary 4 TB 7200 RPM HDD, a GeForce GTX 1060 video card with 6 GB GDDR5, water cooled and 850 watt power supply.
