“Har aachi subah ke pehle ek gehri raat hoti hai”.
Siddharth shared his experiences and difficulties he faced while following his passion. He motivated the crowd by giving them a tip about life which was as follows –
“Hamesha alag dikhne ke liye alag dikho, warna bheed mein reh jaoge. Jo bhi chiz karo usme apna best do.”
He closed his talk with the famous dialogue from the movie “Om Shati Om – “Agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho , to puri kainaat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai”.
Music comes naturally to some. Being a connoisseur of the harmony of music is easy, doing justice to this vast world is anything but. Some people, however, are excelling at this very same task and Siddharth Slathia is one of them.
Growing up in Jammu, he started showing his panache for singing at an early age. At the age of 10, he was selected for singing for his school’s annual day. He was given the required platforms to show his talent by his teachers, which led him to perform in the All India Radio and Jammu’s local Radio channels as well. He also took part in a lot of state and national level singing competitions.
Siddharth started with his Engineering from a reputed college in Jaipur, but dropped out to pursue his music career, in which process he learned Hindustani classical from Pt. Kundan mal ji. As of now, he is pursuing a course in Bachelors of Music from Jammu University and learning Hindustani classical from Pt. Bholanath Misra ji.
