Today I’ll be showing you how to install Doodlebomb onto your Nintendo 3DS system. This is a free exploit that works on any 3DS between firmwares 9.x and 11.x. You can check your current 3DS firmware by entering the system settings app and looking at the bottom-right of the top screen.
If you’re on 11.4, this will work, but you will need to find another friend to send you the note since you cannot access Soundhax. Follow the file management portion of this video and you can access The Homebrew Launcher by simply opening the letter a friend sends you! If you’re unable to find a friend with homebrew access, check this GBAtemp thread: http://bit.ly/2pjvjei
You’ll also need The Homebrew Starter kit. Watch the Soundhax video below to see how to get it.
If you’re on 11.3 or below, you need prior homebrew access to install Doodlebomb and send the letter to friends. You need to do all the steps in the video, including installing Soundhax: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uysb6oQ7Bag

Q: My screen glitches when clicking on the note and displays no text. What should I do?
A: Verify that initial.bin, rop.bin, and otherapp.bin are inside of a folder named ‘doodlebomb’ on your SD Card.
Q: My bottom screen turns red when clicking on the note.
A: You don’t have the Homebrew starter kit ‘boot.3dsx’ file. The Soundhax video above shows you how to get this. (All 3DS versions)
